This is the last season for the beach they are raising the level of the lake 17feet!!!
Best SW to W. Good on Super Nuker Chinooks...
The beach marked for Launch is South of the main Beach and camping. For good reason. The main beach is occupied by RV Campers, power boats and kids... you'll want to stay away from the main beach for your own good.
Good for beginners windsurfing but
Shore banks can be steep, so be cautious about launching kites.
Free 'day use' facilities (eg. toilets). There is a fee for overnight camping... $12?
No other Facilities... BYO.
The Force Ten Boardsailing Club (www.Force10.ca) holds Free Beginers Days (Windsurfing ONLY) August 22-23, 2009. For kiting lessons find an IKO sanctioned instructor in Alberta.
