Nice beach, can ride ride any west wind and north east. South West wind brings smaller waves and Caribbean like conditions, North winds bring monster waves.

Somewhat busy on weekends in the summer, buy you can always find a spot to rig and launch farther north along of the main beach or south of the 'south beach' (south side of the pier). Lots of people launch from their private cottages south west of this beach. Pinary provincial park is also an option, which is easily reached by boat or car.

There is often great wave riding here, expect rough water.
