Spot Details

Location:
Victoria St W. and Gordon St in Whitby.
Wide open fields to the south of the soccer fields until the Marina Parking lot.

Parking:

Summer time you can park off Victoria St. W. where the soccer fields are.
Can park down by the Marina Boat Launch area.
Off Watson St. W there is a small parking lot beside the soccer fields. Have to walk along the path to the open fields.
Can park along Gordon St, In the Plaza off Gordon St. or Iroqious Park's Parking lot on the North side of Victoria Park.

Wind:

Works well in any wind direction.
However N/S winds will give you the shortest runs.

Field:

Great buggy and kite skiing field. Some terrain for minor buggy launches.
Wind can be good at one end and dead at the other.
Hardly any people around; mostly interested in the kites.
Goose droppings can be an issue; rarely.

Food:

Sports Garden Cafe for food and drinks on the North side of Victoria St. W.
Subway, Tim Horton's and much more on the opposite side of Gordon St.
