Spot Details

- This is the recommended launch spot to access the Banana River slick.  The kite launch is in the park on the grass.  You then walk a short distance with your kite to enter the water.  Halfway across the river is a shallow strip that is glassy smooth.  This is the best slick I have ridden.  It can also be accessed from the 528 Causeway, however this launch site has more room and has parking.  This location is good for anything West.  Watch out for Manatees!
