Water:
Shallow and flat water. Little chop. No boats.
Beach:
Small sandy beach, but lots of space on the empty properties.
Weather:
Like outer banks sound just a few degrees cooler. Shortie mid spring and fall, shorts June to August.
Wind:
North: sideoffshore
Northwest: sideshore
West: sideonshore
Southwest: onshore
South: sideonshore
Southeast: sideshore
East: sideoffshore
Northeast: offshore
You can kite ESE to WSW pre frontals and thermals. Too gusty if any North in the wind direction.
How to get there:
Get to Black Horse Pike (US 40) and take a street south to the lake and you will hit Bay Drive. Best launch is left or right of the Hampton Inn.
Rules & Restrictions:
Ride upwind about 1/2 mile to the marsh and get waist deep dead flat water for trying new tricks.
