Spot Details
Primarily used for snow kiting. Good for early season snow kiting, since the surrounding area freezes first.
Not really a recommend kite surfing spot for a couple reasons.
- There are many trees, making it hard to thread your kite through the trees (very difficult with a 14m)
- Get your lines and kite past the rocky shoreline, through some nasty weed beds, sticks, re-bar, broken bottles, fish hooks, etc.
- Water has a ton of weeds and gets deep quickly, with little room for error on a water launch.
- Do NOT mess up. There's no bail-out point other than the park.
- Recommend boat / jet-ski support.
