Spot Details

This is the only public spot that works on a straight South north of Point Clark on Lake Huron (Zion Rd. Beach), with an actual public beach access(note that south Oli and Wasaga are further inland and need a SW and typically will be dirty on a direct S wind). Singing Sands also does not work clean on a S wind, it works best on a SW wind as well. If the conditions are not filling in at Oli and Sauble, short of going to Manitoulin Isl., check this spot out, but caution on rocky coastline, and because the beach is small, do not leave kites on the beach at all, park them next to the car on the road or on the grass next to the trees. Gorgeous sandy beach, but lots of sharp rocks, recommended safe riding only. Check pictures out. Park at the end of Bass Rd, but do not block the boat drop access.
