Spot Details
City Rest Area FREE, with access from Parking, Also parking available on rue loiselle. There are no restroom facilities in winter.
Kiteboarding (expert only, lauching from shore is often difficult due to water leves, updrafts and space available)
Snowkiting. Usually between the 10th of Janurary and 1st of March.
Winds: North, northwest, West(on shore),SW, S.
Venturi effects with NW-at mouth of Huron River, and S-at closing of bassin and Richelieu river.
Be vigillent of Up drafts with W winds, launch at a distance 3 times height of trees from shore.
Thining of ice may occur during melts close to shore about 30m, due to underlying currents form Huron river.
